I must say that this trip to NYC was amazing. I was able to see the city and experience New York not as a tourist but as a perspective resident. I must say that coming back to Pittsburgh was far easier than arriving in NYC. My hotel booked a driver to pick my friend and I up at 6am and the driver was professional and didn’t talk on his phone once. I must say that he did love his hip hop music and I think P. Diddy must own his own radio station because I swear only Bad Boy songs were played. I was driven back to the airport in a luxury car, which was a delightful change from the white trash entrance I made into the city.
I still can’t believe that I was in the audience last night for Late Night with Conan O’Brien. I stayed up to watch the show and I still can’t get over the fight between Conan, Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert. It was amazing! I even stayed up to watch Last Call with Carson Daly, which I never watch because that show blows. I had to watch it since Rob and Big were on. They even brought Meaty! Meaty tried attacking Rob as Rob was attempting to set a world record. It was very cute.
I am currently running on about 2hrs of sleep and going strong. I am trying to stay awake so I can watch the new episode of Rob and Big. I don’t know if I’ll make it, though. Tomorrow is dedicated solely to catching up with some z’s. All and all I had a wonderful trip to see Conan, NYC and all the sights of the town. Can’t wait to go back!
