Kathie Lee Joins the “Today Show”
BREAKING NEWS!!!!!—- well, not really. Kathie Lee Gifford is joining the “Today Show” for their 10am hour. The only problem with this is—- WHO CARES! There is a reason the ratings for “Live with Regis and Kelly” skyrocketed after Gifford left… Gifford is terrible. I seriously think NBC wants to sabotage anything that was successful for their network. First, they get Meredith Viera (who I can’t stand) and now Kathie! What the hell, NBC?! Whoever is calling the shots at the network really needs a reality check. Kathy Lee sucks and so does this 3rd hour of “Today”. If anything, NBC you should be cherishing the only things that you still have reaching the number one spot– your morning and night talk shows. I have heard rumors for a while that NBC plans to replace “Late Night” with JIMMY “ALWAYS LAUGHING SCREWING UP HIS LINES NOT FUNNY” FALLON! C’mon NBC, GET REAL!

Conan’s Appearance on the Tonight Show
I know that the past two posts have been about Conan and I swear this will be my last one (for a while… haha). I thought this was a pretty awesome interview where Conan talks about his “feud” with Good Housekeeping magazine, his kids and being chased down the streets of NYC by a 5′2 lawyer. Just click on the link and it will take you directly to Conan’s interview.
Conan Visits Martha Stewart
I don’t usually watch Martha Stewart but last Thursday Conan O’Brien was a guest. The two decorate eggs and glaze a ham…. very entertaining stuff. Check it out.
Easter Greeting Card
This is a funny video card that my sister just sent to me and I just wanted to share it. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!
This Week on South Park…..
I am a huge fan of South Park and this week’s episode was one of the greatest episodes ever! I think that if you have read or heard or seen anything about Britney Spears within that past year you will appreciate this episode. Trey and Matt were spot on with the media’s crazy obsession with this poor girl. You have to take a look at this episode for yourself.

J.LO is a Diva?! I’m Shocked!

I swear the entertainment business wants to be mocked. I just read an article on E!Online and it was about the same thing I commented on 3 weeks ago…. J.Lo recieving a 6 Million Dollar check for baby pics from People magazine. Apparently in this week’s issue of “People” J.Lo has a 12 page pictorial with her newborn twins. I just thought it was funny that the E!Online comment was almost the exact thing I commented on when the word broke about J.Lo’s baby pics. I should be working for E! News with my amazing sloothing about celebrities who are selfish pieces of crap. I just wonder what in the world J.Lo needs with 6 million dollars? Is she that hardup for funds? The economy is hitting everyone pretty hard these days… it must be rough on Jennifer to only be able to fly first class and not in a private jet all the time. Poor thing.

Dancing with the Stars— Who are These People?!

I started watching this season’s “Dancing with the Stars” but there was one problem— I don’t know half of these “stars”. I know Adam Corolla (Love Line, Man Show) but there are some that I’ve never heard of. The Latin guy, for one. I have never seen him and somehow he is a star? Presley is only a star because she married Elvis. Steve Gutenburg?! Seriously?! I haven’t seen him in years and his face scares me after all the plastic surgery and spray tans. I think the only person who deserves to win the competition is the deaf woman. She is trying to learn the steps without music and has to constantly look over at her translator. My “favorite” dance of the night has to be the Broadway star who barely moved. She didn’t even dance. Haha! I kinda find it funny that any girl who is larger than a size 12 is cast as the lead in “Hairspray.” I know the role is for a larger girl but there don’t seem to be any other roles for the bigger gals on Broadway. Her dancing was so bad that I had to share the video. Enjoy!

I swear “dancing with the stars” is scraping the bottom of the showbiz barrel. They really need to find someone new because I thought the lowest they could go was Marc Cuban last year but I apparently was mistaken.
What’s the Deal with Robbie Dyrdek?

About 2 months ago I wrote a post about Rob and Big and since then it’s been my top post. I have gotten several emails and comments asking me more and more information about Rob Dyrdek and Christopher “big black” Boykin. Most of the posts are about Rob’s personal life. I think it’s kind of funny that people think I know something about this man’s personal life… I am just a fan of the show. I do know that Rob and Big have Myspace pages (which they draw attention to on the show). I do know that Big was recently married and that Rob is in a relationship. I think it’s funny that people are so interested in knowing so much about Rob Dyrdek. He is a cool guy on TV but I think what he did in his professional life deserves far more attention than who he is hooking up with.
Rob is an impressive skateboarder and businessman. He has had his own company since he was 18 years old (more than most can say) and he has several endorsements i.e. Monster Energy Drinks, DC Shoes, Alien Workshop and SKATE video games. I just find it funny that so many people have responded to my previous blog entry. I hope this information is helpful in learning a little more about Rob Dyrdek.

Hooray For Scripted Television!
Being a writer myself, I love watching scripted television. I love being able to watch a show that has a team of writers working diligently on a script for weeks. The writer’s strike is over and scripted TV is back and you all need to watch— Don’t get me wrong, I like certain reality shows (but not many). I like American Idol (The girls are TERRIBLE this season) and I catch myself watching Dancing with the Stars. However, I don’t enjoy shows like Moment of Truth, Deal or No Deal, or any of the other lame game shows. I understand the strike was rough on the networks but, viewers have been waiting for their favorite characters to return.
What I find funny is that CBS of all networks recruited none other than Britney Spears to play a secretary on the HIT (emphasis on HIT) TV show, “How I Met Your Mother”. Now, I’m not surprised that a tv show would recruit a celebrity guest. I am surprised that it was CBS. I would have thought that if any network would have solicited Britney Spears it would have been the ranking # 3 network, NBC. I also heard that CBS is extending Britney’s role on the show to 3 episodes. I guess NBC didn’t learn their lesson from their great mistake of passing on LOST.
I am not a fan of “Grey’s Anatomy” but I know a lot of people who are so you all will be happy to know the show is back in early April. I do think there are some shows that people must watch—>
1. South Park — Comedy Central, Wednesday Nights at 10. South Park is my FAVORITE SHOW and I couldn’t be happier with the new season. I think the first episode was a bit messed up but this week is about Britney Spears in South Park. You gotta check it out!
2. Lil’ Bush– Comedy Central, Thursday Nights at 1030. It’s a mini version of the madness we are living in today in this country. The Little Dems are trying to take over. This show is funny to anyone who hates George Bush or is just pissed off that this economy blows and no one can find a decent job.
3. The Office– NBC, Thursday Nights at 9. One of the greatest comedies on TV. If you have ever worked in an office environment you will relate to this show show much it’s scary.
4. The Daily Show– Comedy Central, Weeknights at 11. With the upcoming election who do you trust more with political insight? A comedian or a journalist? A comedian, of course! Jon Stewart is a riot.
5. The Colbert Report– Comedy Central, Weeknights at 1130. Steven Colbert pokes fun at Right-Wing Media (Fox News) like no other.
Shows that I watched on DVD or Re-runs and I think deserve a chance when they come back on the air—>
1. 30 Rock– NBC, Thursday Nights @ 830. I must admit that I hated this show when I watched the first couple episodes. I thought it was cheesy and lame but after watching a few more episodes it grew on me. I say check out but go in with low expectations.
2. SNL– NBC, Saturday Nights @ 1135. Again with the political thing. I think you have to watch some SNL when it’s an election year. This season is not very good so far but, it’s a little better than the “Fallon Years”.
I am so glad scripted TV is back!

Happy St. Patty’s Day
I hope you all have a wonderful St. Patty’s day! Most people celebrated this past weekend but for those who are daring enough to drink today, have a wonderful day. Enjoy your kegs and eggs and your green bagels and whatever else there is. Just remember that if you are too hungover to go into work or class the best excuse to use is— Explosive diarrhea.
Happy St. Patty’s Day!!!!
