I Feel Like Forrest Gump.
March 3, 2008 at 6:55 pm (Forrest Gump, I like pop music, applying for jobs, beyonce, entertainment, feeling fat, funny, funny stories, hating george bush, humor, i feel fat days, jackie moon, jobs in the entertainment industry, less stress after graduation, motivation, moving to NYC, music, music sucks today, new tv episodes, new workout, no money, personal, poor after college, poor economy, pop music, south park, trey parker, trying on clothes, what i'm thinking about during a workout, will ferrell)
I don’t know what’s come over me lately but I have a sudden urge to take over the world. I woke up this morning and I felt like going for a walk. Simple enough. However, I went to the park and once I started walking I felt this incredible urge to just keep going. I started thinking about the most random stuff during my walks. I did pay enough attention to avoid the dog poop but I was so driven. I seriously felt like Forrest Gump. I just was walking to walk. I ended up thinking about my TV shows that I enjoy and possible episodes they could use. I think Trey Parker needs to call me about my awesome idea about a South Park episode that I’ve had in my head since 2006. It’s great. I have Cartman running for student council and hilarity ensues. Haha! I was also thinking about the screenplay that I started. I really think it needs more comedy because as of right now it’s lame. It’s almost a journal and no one cares about that. I want to be as funny as possible.
I was also thinking about how radio sucks. I have been listening to my version of “oldies” for the past couple months because the radio pisses me off. I can’t stand Akon. I swear he is in every new song and they are all terrible. I’ve resorted to listening to Nsync, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Eminem, Destiny’s Child…. all the pop stuff that everyone claims to hate but secretly have “Tearin’ up my heart” on their Ipod. I know a lot of those people. My favorite thing about my walk was my “running off the lbs mix”. I have some bitchin’ jams on that! I love pop music and I think that is the next best motivator to moving your ass. The first is when you are in the fitting room trying on a pair of jeans and you have to shuffle yourself into them and then convince yourself that you can easily fit into them if you wear your Spanx. Admit it, you all know what I’m talking about!
I also thought how funny it was that Will Ferrell’s new movie bombed! Did you see that it only made 15 million dollars?! That doesn’t even cover Will’s salary. Wow, he really needs to do some different roles. I am so sick of seeing him playing variations of the same character. I thought Old School was the peak. He hasn’t done very many good movies since then. Anchorman was funny… I’ll give him that. But, Talledega Nights, Blades of Glory? No thanks. Those movies were awful. I heard he is an ass in real life. He is the most difficult celebrity to sign an autograph. What’s that about? Johnny Depp was number one and he is never in public. I don’t get it. I think the movies are going downhill. Actors need to act not just play themselves or a cheap variation of one that got them famous. I think the best example of this is Mike Myers. His movies suck lately. The Love Guru looks terrible. The 3rd Austin Powers just made me question why Beyonce is allowed to act. She sucks. Dreamgirls? I was glad that Beyonce didn’t get an Oscar nomination and Jennifer Hudson won. Sorry about your “big break” Beyonce. Stick to singing.
I ended up walking/running about 3.5 miles out of nowhere. I haven’t been out for a run in months and all of sudden I felt the urge. I finally realized that I am much more relaxed now that I’m finished with school. I have a pretty easy life (minus the terrible retail job). I don’t have to write anymore papers, read books or take exams. It’s a great thing to not have to stay up and study crap that once the test is over you forget every piece of information. I am still a little stressed about the whole “moving to NYC” thing. I am sure it will pan out, though. I am applying like crazy. I applied to 3 more places this morning. I just can’t wait till we get a new president because this economy blows ass. I have never hated George Bush more since I am a college graduate struggling to get a job. I don’t care who wins the election as long as it’s not Hillary. haha!
